The Grooming Gallery is proud to offer a beginning obedience class for puppies as well as    a series of lectures on a variety of behavior and training topics led by Dog Behavior Solutions, a leading provider of reward based behavior modification training for dogs in Chicago.

Purely Puppy - Beginning Behavior

(February 29 through April 4 at 6:30 pm)     

Get your puppy off to a great start with Purely Puppy - Beginning Behavior, a six-week introductory course to basic obedience, good manners, and socialization. In it, you will learn to teach your puppy proper behaviors and prevent unwanted ones. In addition to sit, stay, down, and come, the class addresses:

• Crate acclimation 
• House Training
• Chewing
• Mouthing
• Object possession
• Leash walking
• Food related manners
• Greeting manners
• Vet visits
• Grooming/handling
• Puppy frustration coping tools

The class is designed to build confidence, positively channel your puppy's energy and enthusiasm, and create a lasting relationship between you and your dog. The class will combine basic training with games and socialization for your pup.

Class size is limited to five and is suitable for dogs up to six months of age (larger breeds of this age may be better suited to an adult beginning obedience class due to their size relative to smaller breeds).
